THE TRAFALGAR FREEHOUSE NEEDS YOU!

A true testament to this pub’s vitality is the strength of its community. Hundreds of you told us, the council, and the planning inspectorate how much this pub means and the vital role it plays in our neighbourhood — a proud South London local, for South Wimbledon and beyond.

WHAT WE DO

We are a Community Benefit Society (CBS) (FCA Registration Number 9719) established to purchase the freehold of the Trafalgar Freehouse pub (The Traf) so that it can remain serving our community.

Our Share Offer has now officially launched!

Find more details on the Share Offer Details page. Or go direct to the Crowdfunder Page here.

As well as the community share offer, we happily accept donations to help towards the fight to buy the pub and cover the various costs being incurred to achieve this. Please find more details here.

Community Benefit Society and the Committee

A Community Benefit Society (CBS) is the vehicle we have decided is the best way to preserve the pub. This CBS has been set up to purchase the freehold of the Traf to ensure it can continue to operate, unimpeded by future external influences.

Community and Contribution

While buying the freehold of the pub is the mechanism, the purpose of Save the Traf is about ensuring that the Traf is able to remain a place for the community (and visitors) to meet and connect.

Your support is crucial to success of this project!
